It is with great pride I welcome the Snipe Fleet back to Richmond Yacht Club for your 2008 Nationals.
It?s been 13 years since we last hosted a Snipe National Regatta.

We pride ourselves in welcoming competitive fleets and running first class regattas. Our location on
the Richmond Riviera gives us easy access to just about any weather conditions you could ask for.
Want 20 knots of breeze with chop? OK, we got it! Getting a little tired of hiking, give us 12 knots
today? OK, we got it!

Our volunteers have plenty of experience when it comes to setting a perfect course on the water, and
insure that you get a fair regatta. We recently rebuilt our harbor, and have great dinghy facilities,
and after your are done with the racing, we will show you how to have fun "the Richmond Way"

We have 2 buzz words for this event, namely the RYC mission statement "This Club was build for fun" and
the name of the regatta "Got Wind?"
