Everyone is welcome to join RYC club members at the regular Friday night dinner – menu prices.  The bar is open.

Saturday August 2

Continental breakfast buffet will be available for Junior and Special Junior Nationals competitors (included) and guests ($5.00).

“Make Your Own” lunch buffet will be available for Junior and Special Junior Nationals competitors (included) and guests ($7.00).

Jr. BBQ
Cheer on our Junior competitors at a cook-out after the racing.  Hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers and all the trimmings will be served. ($9.00 per person)

Monday August 4

Breakfast buffet will be available for competitors (included) and guests ($6.00).

“Make Your Own” lunch buffet will be available for competitors (included) and guests ($7.00).

12:00 pm Crosby Elimination Series (Warning Race 1)
Sailed as single fleet if less than 50 boats registered

Day event for guests:
A van will pick you up at RYC and take you to Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, and return you to RYC by 5:00.  (cost TBD)

After Racing - informal debrief at the keg after racing - competitors / judges / RC

Dinner + game night

Game night!  The competition continues at RYC where teams will compete for fabulous prizes and bragging rights, all covered by our own Karoke singers.  A selection of pasta dishes, fresh bread and Caesar salad will help fuel the participants. ($15 per person).  Full no host bar available.

Tuesday August 5

Day event for guests:
Take a tour of the Wine Country in a stretch limo.  You will be picked up and dropped off at RYC.    (cost TBD)

What to do tonight?

Option 1 – Bay Area Dine-Around:

We’ll make reservations for groups of 8 or 10 at a selection of fine Bay Area restaurants.  Sign up for your favorite and enjoy a night of good food and good company.  List of restaurants and approximate prices will be available in June. (menu prices)

Option 2 – Pizza and Movie Night:

On the more casual side, stay at RYC and enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza, salad tossed with caramelized onions, blue cheese and apples, ice cream sundaes (with all of the good stuff) and a movie on the large projection screen. ($14.00 per person) Full no host bar available.

Wednesday August 6

Breakfast buffet will be available for competitors (included) and guests ($6.00).

A van will pick you up at RYC and take you to Union Square in San Francisco (the ultimate shopping district), and return you to RYC by 5:00.    (cost TBD)

SCIRA USA general meeting

Vintners Dinner at RYC –
Sample a variety of wines from local producers and enjoy a typical “California Cuisine” dinner, which will included locally grown ingredients prepared in a simple, flavorful, healthy manner. ($18.00 per person) Full no host bar available.

2009 Nationals Preview Dinner and Party
The District 4 hosts of the 2009 Nationals will bring a little bit of Florida to RYC.  Sunshine, sand and a delicious seafood buffet will help set the mood. ($14.00 per person) Full no host bar available.

Day event for guests:
Enjoy lunch at Chez Panisse in Berkeley.  Alice Waters opened this award-winning restaurant in 1971 and is considered one of the founders of the organic food movement.  The day will also include a tour of the Scharffen Berger Chocolate factory.  Transportation to and from RYC will be provided.   (cost TBD)

Awards dinner on deck at Richmond YC
Complete the regatta in style with fine food, wine, music, trophies and Fried’s fabulous slide show. (2 dinners included in registration fee, guests $55.00)
Bring your dancing shoes for the DJ and dancing after the awards
